解析的X型サドルサイクルのMonodromy行列と軌道シフト#
この notebook は、3-D トロイダル幾何に埋め込まれた 解析的に構成した saddle cycle(Poincaré map の X-point)で、pyna の中核的な Monodromy workflow を示します。

1. 解析的 field construction#
厳密な m=3 X-cycle が解析的に既知の field を構成します。
1.1 cycle と固有方向#
cycle は楕円
上にあり、\(\iota = 1/3\) なので軌道は \(m=3\) トロイダル turn の後に閉じます。
X-point の Poincaré map は固有値 \(\lambda_u = e^{+1/5}\)(unstable)と \(\lambda_s = e^{-1/5}\)(stable)を持ちます。固有方向は、与えられた角度 \(\theta(\varphi)\) に従って軌道に沿って回転します。

2. pyna field function として wrap する#
pyna は signature field_func(rzphi) -> (dR/dl, dZ/dl, dφ/dl)、つまり arc-length parameterized の field function を期待します。\(d\varphi/dl = B_\varphi / (R |B|)\) を使って、φ-parameterization から変換します。

3. pyna.topo.evolve_DPm_along_cycle による monodromy matrix の計算#
evolve_DPm_along_cycle 関数は、軌道に沿って 2 つの coupled equation を積分します。
Phase 1 - DX_pol の variational equation:
1 つの完全な period(\(\varphi_0 \to \varphi_0 + 2m\pi\))の後、 \(\mathtt{DPm} = \mathtt{DX\_pol}(\varphi_{\rm end})\)、すなわち monodromy matrix が得られます。
Phase 2 - DPm evolution の commutator equation:
初期条件は identity ではありません。Phase 1 で計算した monodromy matrix です。これにより DPm(φ) は、period の開始位置を φ₀ ではなく φ にずらした場合に、full-period map Jacobian が どのように見えるか を追跡します。

4. 軌道沿いの DX_pol と DPm 初期条件#
ここでは DX_pol(φ)、すなわち各 φ における state transition matrix を可視化し、Phase-2 DPm equation が I ではなく DX_pol(φ_end) から始まる理由を説明します。
幾何的意味: DPm(φ) は、φ₀ ではなく φ から始まる「shifted」軌道の Monodromy です。Poincaré section をずらすと full-period map は変化するため、一般には DPm(φ) != DX_pol(φ_end) です。DPm(φ) は commutator equation で発展し、その初期値は定義と整合するように DX_pol(φ_end) でなければなりません。

5. Perturbation field 下の linear orbit shift#
ここでは 小さな perturbation δB を加え、orbit_shift_under_perturbation で X-cycle の linear shift を計算します。
shift δX(φ) は次を満たします。
周期境界条件 δX(φ₀ + 2mπ) = δX(φ₀) から、
